Dear Sirs,

About a month ago, on july 18th, I sent you a letter, enquiring about information on the ex-Military base of Krampnitz, near Potsdam, in Germany.

Until now I have had no reply from you, therefore I am sending you some more details on how the project has been going.

Early august, I returned to Krampnitz to do some more research on the spot, and also to define the form in which the project could be presented. As I explained before, I am quite interested in the base's prison, and therefore my main interest has been focused thereon. First there is the strange aspect of the map, with which we were furnished, it comes from some German institute, and lists all the buildings with a number, for instance nø 47 is the restaurant, 47a, the cinema/theatre- hall, 71 heating-facilities, and 66 the auto-workshops next to the prison. The prison itself though, is not mentioned on the map. Therefore my first request is to obtain a map, a) from the prison itself, b) from the camp, including the prison, and preferably with exact numbers end/or specifications of the buildings, what they were used for. Second request is a copy of the list of people who have been imprisoned, and/or regulations which state which offenses used to be punished with imprisonment. I am not as much interested in case studies or individual stories, but would like to have an idea of the function of the prison in the camp. Therefore lists can be as simple as possible, or just some xeroxes from files that are available upon this subject. It isn't necessary either to have a complete file, I just need to have a rough idea as the presentation will only be possible to give an overview anyway.

I hope, dear sirs, you will be able to help me in my investigations.

Thank you for your time, I hope to hear from you soon Danny DEVOS
